I had a nosebleed while I was outside today and very far away from anything I could use to wipe it away with, such as napkins or paper towels, so I ended up wiping it onto my hands and letting it run down my face low enough that the blood only reached my upper lip. When I walked past people on my trip, I noticed that they either pretended I didn't exist or looked at me as if I had a problem with them, which I supposed was due to the blood on my face. Any other time I've waved or smiled to anyone I've walked past, they do the same to me, so under these circumstances I figured the people seeing me thought I was some sort of douchebag who got done fighting another douchebag in an alley somewhere, and the other douchebag got a good hit on my nose. It didn't help me much that I was holding a Liquid Death can that was also covered in blood due to me wiping the blood onto my hands, making it look as if I might've beaten the other douchebag with it.
From this point forward, I dicided I would go into the nearest gas station and use the bathroom sink to wash myself off. I found a dumpster to throw my can away with halfway through my trip, but it didn't do anything to change people's reactions to me. When I finally got to the gas station and saw myself in the mirror of the bathroom, I realized what was wrong with my appearance. The blood dried shortly after my nose was finished bleeding, which made it black. It was so black that you would've guessed it was facial hair before you realized it was blood. It was black, and it was shaped like a square directly beneath my nose.
